About you

You combine deep AI expertise with a creative mindset. As a hands-on builder, you turn the latest AI developments into practical, end-to-end applications alongside our team. You bridge robust backend logic with seamless design.

What you will do

As an AI Design Technologist, you turn AI potential into real, practical tools.

• You act as the technical anchor for our creative teams. You translate design into complex engineering. You partner with teams to show what is technically feasible without killing creativity.

• You lead technical implementation for client projects. You advise clients on their tech stack and design their AI roadmaps. You like to help them scale their tech infrastructure.

• You are a hands-on builder at heart. You architect and engineer complete solutions from scratch, turning simple scripts into reliable, full-stack research assistants, agents, and dashboards.

• You define the baseline for AI governance, security, and data privacy across all builds.

What we expect from you

• Creative Engineer: You are a developer first, but you speak the language of design and thrive in a creative environment.

• You have a foundational understanding of modern AI architecture. You’ve been building in this space deeply, not just playing with APIs for a few months.

• A relevant university (WO) or applied sciences (HBO) degree.

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.

• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.

• 'Let's go' Mindset: You don't wait for orders. You explore, prototype, and build solutions independently.

Tech Stack

We care more about your underlying engineering fundamentals than vendor lock-in. If you know AWS, we trust you can learn Azure.

• Backend: Python, FastAPI (or Flask, Django, or similar).

• AI: LLM orchestration (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex), strict output validation (Pydantic), and modern AI paradigms (Agentic RAG, Knowledge Graphs, multi-agent frameworks, and evaluation tools).

• Frontend: TypeScript, React, Vue.js, or similar.

• Deployment: Docker and strong familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Technical fluency

• End-to-End Execution: You write production-ready code. You can spin up a rapid React/Vue frontend and wire it securely to a robust Python backend.

• Applied AI: You build beyond basic wrappers. You design complex, multi-agent systems and advanced retrieval pipelines, knowing exactly how to enforce structured, reliable AI outputs.

• System Integration: You act as the glue, securely connecting models to internal databases, enterprise microservices, and third-party APIs.

• Delivery: You ship. Taking a raw proof-of-concept and guiding it all the way into a robust, deployed cloud application is exactly the kind of challenge that excites you.

Design and product mindset

• Strong familiarity with the design process: Understand the workflows from research, through strategy and design to delivery

• Ability to understand designers’ needs and turn them into usable tools

• Product thinking: able to own small internal tools end to end, balancing experimentation with stability

• Working directly with design teams to create client proof of concepts and prototypes.
