As our digital division is growing fast, we are looking for a skilled Medior or Senior digital product designer to join us in the pursuit of making digital products more human!

Your challenge

Are you passionate about making a positive impact through digital products? Do you want to develop yourself by working on diverse complex design projects worldwide - both in terms of hardcore UX skills and strategic innovation skills - and further develop as a rock-solid digital product designer? Then this role is tailor-made for you!

As a Medior or Senior UX Designer, you will take the lead in running projects while guiding junior team members. Together, you will design rock-solid, user-friendly digital products. Products that not only make sense on all sides, but are also visually attractive. In addition, you are strategically strong and sensitive to the organisation you are working for. In your design process, you maintain a holistic perspective, considering the complete service and all touchpoints. You are assertive in engaging various stakeholders (from C-level and PO to developers and privacy experts), and facilitate the team in strategic decision-making. With a toolkit of design methods and tactics at your disposal, you know which tools to employ to drive progress in your design process.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects as a project lead with one or more digital product designers beside you.
• Run design projects in a design team under the direction of a Lead/Director designer.
• Create wireframes, designs, prototypes and design systems using Figma.
  
• Set up and conduct usability tests.
  
• Gain a good understanding of Koos as a company, our clients, and their needs.
  
• For Senior designers: Guide progress meetings with Junior/Medior digital product designers, challenge and coach them regarding their progress, and provide internal advice for promotion.

Your profile

• Possess a relevant HBO/WO degree.

• 3+ years of relevant work experience for Medior and 5+ years for Senior.

• Demonstrated experience in solving complex design problems and leading innovation projects for diverse organizations.

• Proficiency in user-centered design methods.

• You are strategically strong, and able to pivot a project approach  to achieve desired goals.

• A strong portfolio showcasing both UX and UI design skills.

• Proactive and capable of managing the design process and project management concurrently.

• Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English, communicating effectively in a professional yet informal manner.

• Available for full-time work (40 hours per week) starting from July 1st, August 1st, or September 1st.

• You either reside in the Netherlands and able to work at the Koos Amsterdam office; OR you reside in Portugal and able to work at the Koos Lisboa office.
