Koos is a fast-growing design & innovation agency. We're big in Amsterdam, growing in Lisbon, new in Berlin and recently opened up shop in Oslo. We collaborate with governments (Covid passport app in the Netherlands) and corporates (Careem Super app in the Middle East) to develop intuitive digital products, seamless services and effective innovation engines. Now we are looking for a fresh talent in product design to help boost our digital projects.

Your challenge

Are you passionate about making a positive impact through digital products? Do you want to develop yourself by working on diverse complex design projects worldwide - both in terms of hardcore UX/UI skills and strategic innovation skills? Then this role will fit you like a glove.

As a product designer with already some real world experience, you'll design rock-solid, user-friendly digital products. Products that not only make sense in every way, but are also visually appealing. You're strategically strong and insightful. In your design process, you maintain a holistic perspective, meaning you think beyond the screen. You know what tools to use at each step of the design process.

With a toolkit of design methods and tactics at your disposal, you know which tools to employ to drive progress in your design process. Besides this, we strongly support you in developing your own passion. Maybe you're a geek in motion design, digital accessibility or design systems.  Or just surprise us with a niche we haven't heard of. 

Responsibilities

• Identify the relevant needs of users and customers.

• Understand how to strategically translate those needs into products.
  

• Create wireframes, design systems, prototypes, and designs (❤️ Figma).

• Organize and conduct usability testing.

You:

Blow us and our clients away with your passion for product design.

• 3+ years (medior) or 5+ years (senior) of relevant work experience
  

• Strong portfolio (both UX and UI).

• Proficient in user-centric design methods
  

• Demonstrated experience in solving complex design problems and leading innovation projects for diverse organizations.

• Strategically strong and able to pivot a project approach to achieve desired goals.

• Capable of managing the design process and project management concurrently.

• Fluent in German (because of our German clients - also OK if you're not there yet, but motivated to get there) and English (because of the rest of the world).
  

• Available ASAP (the sooner the better).

• Berlin-based.
