Sr Digital Product Designer

Koos is a fast-growing design and innovation agency based in Amsterdam. We work with both governments (Covid passport app in the Netherlands) and corporates (Careem Super app in the Middle East) to develop intuitive digital products, seamless services and effective innovation engines. Now we are looking for fresh talent in product design to help boost our digital projects.

Your challenge

Do you have a passion for creating positive impact through digital products? Do you want to keep developing yourself by working on diverse, complex design projects around the world, both in terms of deep UX craft and strategic innovation? Then this role might be for you.

In this role, you act as a strategic partner to both clients and internal teams. You take ownership of the full design process, from discovery and insight analysis to concept development, validation, and implementation. You move comfortably between strategy and execution, translate complex challenges into clear, human-centered solutions, and ensure design decisions are grounded in both user needs and business context.

You work independently within projects, take responsibility for quality and direction, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across disciplines. In addition, you mentor medior designers, contribute to knowledge sharing, and help further strengthen the design discipline within Koos.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on UX, digital development, and user-centered design

• Identify relevant needs of users and clients.

• Understand how to strategically turn these needs into products.

• Create wireframes, design systems, prototypes and designs (we ❤️ Figma).

• Set up and conduct usability tests.

• Take ownership of stakeholder and project management

• Coach less experienced colleagues

Your profile:

• A relevant university (WO) or applied sciences (HBO) degree

• 5+ years of relevant work experience

• A solid UX/UI portfolio

• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus

• Proficient in user-centric design methods.

• Strategic, empathic and holistic thinker.

• Availablefrom Feb/March for 40 hours a week. (start date to be discussed)

  - Senior range: € 4.573 – € 6.382 gross/month (40h/week excl. holiday allowance)
